BOB SAUNDERS FAMILY COVERED BRIDGE

Where: Sterrett in Shelby County, Alabama

When Built: 2010

GPS Coordinates: 33°26'31"N, 86°30'37"W

Located in the gated Saunders Bridge Subdivision in the former location of Twin Pines Resort and Conference Center, this bridge is viewed by appointment only, making it harder to see than some of the other bridges. Standing at 50 feet long and 10 feet wide, it’s made out of wood trusses that were salvaged from a 100-year-old home.
