Spanning 60 feet, Coldwater Covered Bridge holds the title as the oldest remaining covered bridge in the state. It was originally located over Coldwater Creek along the border of Calhoun and Talladega counties (near the community of Coldwater, hence the name), but was moved in 1990 to its present location at Oxford Lake Park. Also known as Hughes Mill Covered Bridge.
